Webinar #4 – Tips for building positive relationships with parents/guardians

Course Description

Building a relationship between school and home is vital to ensure that students can get the most out of their learning. A supportive environment at home not only ensures that students complete their homework, but also ensures that reinforcement of concepts being taught at school occurs through discussion and ongoing practice. In this session, experienced teacher Benjamin Pisani, will explore tips that can help you to build a positive relationship with your students’ parents/carers and how you can use this to strengthen the learning that is occurring in your classroom.

Course Description

While assessment is a major focus of our practice as teachers, it does not necessarily have to be one that is excessively time consuming. Utilising digital assessment tools and systems, teachers are more able to easily collect and collate data which can then be analysed to inform future practice. In this session, experienced teacher Prue Pisani will unpack how you can collect and manage formative student assessment using Digital Technology and how this can assist you in not only managing your time but informing your future teaching.
