Course 1 – Tips for classroom organisation: design your classroom for ultimate workflow

Course Description

The classroom environment is sometimes known as the ‘third teacher’ with a strong effect on student learning. In this session we explore the layout of your classroom and how you can increase learning, productivity, and flow by carefully thinking about the furniture you have, how it can be used and how you lay it out. Our presenter, Faith Sun, an expert in interior design will talk you through some tips and tricks to help you to create an effective and powerful learning environment.

Course 2 – Tips for classroom and behavior management

Course Description

One of the most significant challenges for teachers can be ensuring that all students can participate in the academic and social learning of the classroom. Challenging behaviours can impact on a student’s learning and be disruptive for the whole class. In this session, experienced teacher Kellie Blair will share proactive and positive approaches to support students’ behaviour to maximise classroom engagement.
