PAVE Learning Academy

This suite of courses looks at the STEM & STEAM Programs, what they are, them impact they have to learning, and how
these programs can be used by teachers to increase engagement and deepen student learning.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Each session is divided into 3 parts

Part 1 unpacks the theoretical concepts behind STEM and STEAM education.

Part 2 is a ‘How to” guide, providing you with an overview of how you can apply and use the the STEM & STEAM solutions provided by the PAVE Academy in your teaching. 

Part 3 provides teachers the opportunity to apply their knowledge into their classroom and to share those lessons or activities with other teachers in the PAVE Academy Network

What is STEM & STEAM?

STEM & STEAM – Coding Robot Solutions

This session unpacks the concept of STEM and STEAM Education to provide teachers with an understanding of what this pedagogical approach is and how it can be embedded into the classroom. This brief overview can be an introduction for teachers into the concept and can be used as a lauchpad for exploring how you can launch a STEM/STEAM program in your classroom.

3D: Using 3D Printers in the classroom

While 3D printing has been around for a little while now, it is still a somewhat new element to some educators.
