DESCRIPTION
Trauma has many faces: abuse, neglect, high conflict divorce, parental substance abuse, accidents, natural disasters, illness, death of a loved one . . . and they can have a significant impact on how a student learns in your classroom. In this session, our presenter Ana, will help you understand how trauma impacts children, and provide you with a tool kit of ways in which you can help these kids get the most out of their learning.
